Just a few years ago Marlys and I went to secure a camping spot at Wentworth Springs and took a selfie to show the crew we made it and yes this fire guy was hanging out with us. We had a howling good time, I can’t believe our tent didn’t blow away. Be safe out there!

The grapes are loving the beautiful summer weather; we are pretty stoked about the cooler temperatures as well.

What is the impact of the cooler weather on the 2025 harvest? Scott Klann sez…

“Grapes like we grow in the foothills are absolutely thriving so far this growing season. Zinfandels, Syrahs, SB and many other varietals love it when it’s very dry. And love it even more when the summer temps are in the 80-95 degree range during the day and the 50-65 degree range at night. We have spent more than 92% of this growing season parked right in those sweet spots! I believe the phrase we are looking for here is…cautiously optimistic about the 2025 vintage.”
