The AEL Coach Award for Dedication, Perseverance & Excellence, presented in recognition of Alyce McNeil, honors the coaches who go far beyond the barn aisle to shape the next generation of horsewomen and horsemen🐴

This award was especially meaningful because the nominations came directly from athletes, parents, and members of our community. Every submission was so special in sharing stories of coaches who inspire, support, and believe in their riders every single day.

While there were so many deserving submissions, we are proud to congratulate Sarah Dzhus of as this year’s recipient🏆

AEL coaches are the heart of this league. Their tireless work, patience, encouragement, and dedication do not go unnoticed. They are building confidence, teaching sportsmanship, and creating lifelong memories both in and out of the saddle. Thank you to every coach who pours so much into their riders and this sport.
