We’ve had a lot of people reach out asking when the poppy patch will be ready. This picture is from this morning. The heat has made the blooms shorter than normal and the heat over the next few days won’t help. However we do have some cooler temps in the forecast next week. I’m hopeful we will still be able to open the field this season but it’s still very much tbd. If we can open it, it may be the weekend of the 20th.

10lbs of garlic scapes - headed to turn into the most delicious garlic scape sauce. This is what was harvested from our garlic in the high tunnel which is ahead of what we have planted outside. We’ll have more in the coming weeks - let us know - what do you make with your garlic scapes??

Good morning! I haven’t posted in a while. We’re sort of in an in-between mode right now. I’m off from my real job today, and so thankful to have a slow morning every once and awhile.

Largest head of cabbage I’ve ever grown!

Who can guess its weight?? Closest to the weight in pounds to 2 decimal places without going over will win a bag of our romaine lettuce when the next round is ready to harvest.

I’ll post the weight tonight!
