The good news is our sunflower strip is blooming. The bad news is the closest section sustained wind damage in the recent storms. The furthest section is all standing upright and blooms face the east making beautiful sunset shots.
All of that being said⦠The fields are very soggy and we have more rain on the way.
If you are interested in using the field for photography please message me and letās set a date and time that work well for you and for Mother Nature. The blooms only last about 2 weeks so time is not on our side.
The last thing I will say is this is likely our last year for large sections of flowers for photography. Weāve put a lot of work into the fields the last 3 years and have not gained traction. We appreciate the photographers who have come and all of the people who have loved our fields- from newborns, families, birthdays, friends- even a proposal⦠typing this makes me want to keep trying for another year or two because so many made memories here.. We just canāt keep operating in the red for this portion of our farm. Maybe some smaller sections next year? Iām not sure..
Also in this post are pics from years past.
