Hey, all! 👋
We’ve gotten a lot of questions about what you should do with your bottles! We are happy to take the glass ones back 😊 PLEASE rinse them well before returning.
If you’re meeting one of us for pick up just bring them with or if you’re stopping by our syrup shelf in Plymouth, you can leave them next to it. Thanks for continuing to choose local syrup! 🍁

We’ve been a little quiet online this season…swipe to see why 🍀🧸

This cute little grandson of Ed & Mindy’s made his debut in the midst of sapping. While his mom enjoyed snuggles, the rest of the family remained busy & finished up the season with 245gal of pure maple syrup 🍁💪 now it’s time to pull taps & clean up!

🍁Not all syrup is created equal🍁

There are four grades of maple syrup: golden, amber, dark, and very dark.

•Golden maple syrup comes from sap collected at the very start of the season. It is light in color with a sweet, delicate flavor, often carrying subtle notes of vanilla.

•Amber maple syrup is harvested mid-season and remains fairly light in color. It has a clean, rich taste and well-rounded flavor.

•Dark maple syrup is collected later in the season and has a deeper color and more pronounced flavor. Its darker hue and stronger taste develop as the sugar content of the sap decreases.

•Very dark maple syrup is produced at the end of the season and is the darkest and most robust of all the grades. It has a bold, distinctive maple flavor that is even stronger than dark syrup, making it ideal for recipes that call for an heavy maple flavor.

Do you have a grade preference on syrup?
