Robertson Ranches Robertson Ranches is a family owned operation located in the heart of Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Plymouth, CA.

Our goal is to produce performance Quarter Horses with the versatility to excel in all aspects of a day’s work - including arena competition such as working cow horse, reining, roping and cutting, as well as outside on the ranch. Brad and Mary Robertson (Robertson Ranches) are a family owned cattle and performance horse operation located in Amador County just outside of Ione.

The cornerstone of their performance horse breeding operation is none other than AQHA World Champion Working Cow Horse, “One Fine Vintage.” One Fine Vintage, or “Vinnie” is a 2009 Sorrel AQHA Stallion with both the pedigree, and the talent to make him one of the top performance stallions of the western industry.

In addition to their equine breeding program, they also pride themselves in the commercial beef cattle herd. Since 1985, pride of ownership and traditional values have helped build their reputable herd, which is made up of predominantly Angus-Simmental crossbred cows and calves. While they breed the majority of their herd with SimAngus bulls, they have recently selected a group of cows to cross on Hereford bulls as well.
