The Shawnee Plymouth VFW Post 1425 is deeply saddened by the passing of "Momma" Shirley Jones at the ripe young age of 96.

She will always be remembered as a loving and eternally happy soul who was sharp as a tack and had the wit to match!

A lifelong member of the VFW Auxiliary, Shirley's husband Raymond Jones was a Veteran and regular member as well as serving as the Post Commander years ago!

We are mourning the loss of such a wonderful soul and we extend our condolences to her daughters Colleen and Darla and all of her family.

God bless you Momma Shirley. We at the VFW will always love and cherish the time we had with you!
