Little Creek Alpacas, established in 2008, is a chemical free farm that raises alpacas sustainably and ethically. Little Creek Alpacas was born out of a great love for animals, and the desire to become more self sufficient and raise our children in a more spiritual setting. We chose alpacas over other livestock because they are docile, earth friendly, and produce a wonderul, luxurious fiber that i

s better than cashmere. Alpaca fiber is not only soft, durable, and warm; it is also moisture wicking, flame retardant, water resistant, and stain resistant.

Willow is proud to say, "My baby is cuter than yours." 😆 I thought Incognito was a goner yesterday, but he is coming around now and improving! He likes to find the wet spots so he needed to be dried with a hair dryer and recoated 3 times. He's a lot of work, but by golly do I love the little stinker and so does his mom. When I feed him his bottle, his mom stands by and kisses me on the lips to thank me for not giving up. Sometimes the hard things have the best rewards.

We have decided to cancel the Kid's Day on the Farm events until Incognito is better and the 3 girls who are due with cria give birth. When I scheduled them originally, I didn't plan on Incognito having such a rough time. Field trips and Alpaca Beach Parties will still go on, I just can't do anything extra because I'm using all my energy to give Incognito around the clock care. With that being said, we're looking forward to seeing everyone the next time we're open, which will be Sun., June 28th from 1pm-5pm for our Alpaca Beach Party - Celebrate Summer! There should be several cria running around by then!

Updated to add that we have canceled both of the Kid's Day on the Farm events.

Destini wanted to say hi. We're getting excited about our first Kid's Day on the Farm this Wed., June 10th from 10am-1pm. Don't forget to purchase your ticket ahead of time, this is a ticketed event and limited space. It's going to be a great day!

The next Kid's Day on the Farm #2 is Sun., June 14th from 12pm-3pm. You can purchase tickets for that one here:
https://square.link/u/ox7HMu7h

Tickets are $10 per child and include 1 parent/guardian. If you have 2 adults and 1 child, or 2 children and 1 adult, you will need to purchase 2 tickets. Our basic farm tours are $10 per person (minimum of 6), only last 1-1.5 hours, and don't include making a craft or play time on Sunny Beach or in the pond, so we feel our Kid's Day on the Farm offer is a good deal. We hope to do these once or twice a week if enough people are interested and sign up. This will help us cover expenses while I tend to Incognito every 2.5-3 hours and miss the Farmers Markets and craft shows. I won't be setting up the farm store for the Kid's Day on the Farm events, so you don't have to worry about the kids wanting to buy stuff, lol!

Incognito is doing better today. He is more bright eyed and less lethargic. He's starting to drink more of his bottle again as well. Hopefully he's out of the danger zone and ready to thrive. We'll be keeping him as a fiber boy, you'll LOVE working with his gorgeous fiber!

Someone loves to munch the mineral block. 😆 Don't forget that our first Kid's Day on the Farm is this Wed., June 10th from 10am-1pm. Tickets need to be purchased ahead of time for this event, and can be purchased here: https://square.link/u/AbNNY1lg
The event will be cancelled if no tickets are sold in advance. One ticket includes one child and their parent/guardian. If you have an extra adult or child, you'll need to purchase an extra ticket. It's going to be hot next week, so it's a great day to visit the alpacas and play in the pond! Only 15 tickets are available, so it won't be crowded. 😉
