There is something so soothing about putting our farm to bed!! 🥰

The less I have to do during the actual soap making process the better!! Pro tip though- If you have more than one batch.. label it 🫣

Did you know goats do not drink like a dog or cat.. instead because they have developed facial cheeks, goats can create a vacuum to draw liquid straight into their mouths in one continuous, silent slurp.

Decided to mulch in between the rows to keep moisture in an reduce a little bit of weeds!

Onions really hate competition of plants and need plenty of watering!

If you didn’t believe me! 🫣

We cured them as normal most of all our potatoes we store in our garage, which works just fine when it’s cold! As soon as it warmed up, they started to sprout.

The ones that we kept in the fridge from the beginning, never sprouted and now we can have potatoes up until we harvest this season!!

Potatoes are too easy not to grow!!

We have tried a few methods over thr years and this is by our favorite!! 🤩

This past year I was looking at different ways to store them and I stored a crate of them in our extra fridge. They still have not sprouted yet and they’re perfectly good like the day I put them in there. The majority we just store in our garage, which just stays pretty cool in there and we make sure to cover them.

They cannot have light or they will turn green, but storing some in the fridge has been awesome for us because now I still have potatoes that didn’t sprout, which should last until we harvest again this year!!
