Hi, it’s me, Manda — owner of PK. 🤍
Five months in… and what a ride it has been.
For months, I’ve been attacked, praised, humbled, verbally torn down, encouraged, loved, and challenged in ways I never could have imagined.
Never did I think opening a coffee shop would come with so much noise. The emails. The social posts. The DMs. The fake reviews. The attempts to make me crumble, falter, or question what I’m doing simply because I have… **faith.**
But here’s what I didn’t expect.
I didn’t expect to make family.
I didn’t expect lifelong friendships.
I didn’t expect people to walk into PK as strangers and somehow become part of my story.
I didn’t expect people to challenge me to become more of who I truly am. To stand on my truth. To fight for what I believe in. To remind me that when the noise gets loud, I don’t have to get louder — I just have to keep standing.
And to the people who have hugged me from near and far, cheered me on, defended me, encouraged me, prayed for me, supported PK, and reminded me why I started…
**Thank you.**
You’ve shown me what real cheerleaders look like. And I will never forget it.
And to those who have tried to destroy a small business owner — I genuinely commend you for your talents. Especially those of you who are mothers, fathers, fellow local business owners, and members of the same community.
The posts. The tags. The reviews. The attempts to make me fail.
I see it.
But I’m still here.
Five months in.
Still serving coffee.
Still loving people.
Still building community.
Still standing on my faith.
Still becoming.
And yep… **that’s my face in this picture.** 😂
The very face many of you asked not to see anymore. 😝
Sorry friends… looks like I’m not going anywhere.
**PK is still here. And so am I.** ☕️🤍
