HUGE Thank You to everyone who purchased a pig from my Berkshire cross group! If anyone has issues or problems, please reach out so I can make it right.

My Hampshire cross group is also SOLD OUT!!! Next litter from my Hampshire sow will be ready in 6 months.

I have one more litter of Hereford/duroc crosses. They will be ready for their new pasture ~June 22nd. 3 of 10 are spoken for so I have 7 left. If you’re looking for a piglet to grow out, let me know. If you haven’t raised pigs, I will give a tour of my farm and explain every step along the way to delicious BACON! Feeder pigs are easier to raise than dogs!!

UPDATE - I’m almost sold out of this batch! If interested, please PM soon. If your interested but not quite ready, I have a 3 week old litter (Hamp/duroc) and a 1 week old litter (Hereford/Duroc) coming up that I’m taking reservations on. Let me know what you’re looking for and when you want it and I can work with you to find the perfect freezer filler!

My April group is SOLD OUT!! Huge thank you to all of my customers, I will be reaching out mid-April to get cut sheet info. For those who were on the fence, I had a new litter hit the ground this week from a couple of new sows. These will be 3/4 Duroc, 1/4 BERKSHIRE! If you want to eat what the King and Queen of England eat, this is it! Taking reservations now for October butcher dates.

I have one hog left, he has a date with Freezer Camp on April 24th.

I am offering this one as whole or halves delivered to the butcher (you pay butcher fees) or full service quarters (you pay one price for hog, processing, and delivery to anywhere in Randolph county).

A whole hog will give you ~150 lbs of forest raised, vacuum bag sealed pork.

RIP Tusk V from Boss Hog and all the porcine hog fans at Lazy K…

Tusk V, the live mascot of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks, passed away on Sunday afternoon, January 15, 2023, at his home outside of Dardanelle, Ark. Tusk V died of natural causes and was laid to rest on the Stokes Family farm.

If you’ve ever wanted a freezer full of beef or pork, but weren’t sure how, send me a message! My goal is to make it easy (lighting the grill is still on you😉)!

We have a limited number of forest raised pigs that will be ready for a trip to freezer camp around May 1st. I will deliver them to any processor you choose from Paragould to Grandin to West Plains to Cave City (subject to processor availability). My next group won’t be ready until late fall so now is the time to reserve your summer grilling groceries.

We also have a limited number of steers that have been started on grain to finish. They are 800 lbs now, we don’t like to grow them much past 1100 to maximize meat quality. If you want beef but don’t have room for a half ton beast, we can set up an early trip to freezer camp for your next pot roast! All steer have been grass fed to this point and can be moved back to grass if you prefer grass fed beef.

Happy New Year from Lazy K! 2023 has already brought a lot of big news on the farm!!

First, and most exciting, Lazy K Farm and R&R Farm are excited to announce that we can now provide both local beef and pork to the Northeast Arkansas / South East Missouri area!! When you buy from us, you will get “white glove” service that includes detailed in person (via phone or video chat) walkthrough of CUSTOM butcher cut sheets if you’re new to .

We have a few extra pigs that will be looking for a freezer near you May 1st if anyone would like to fill their freezer for the summer grilling season. These hogs are raised in a hardwood forested pasture with room to roam and the results show in the meat. If you’re interested in a whole or half hog, please PM me.

Lazy K Farm also welcomed a few goat babies over the winter break. These will be either Nigerian or Mini-Nubian. The Mini-Nubians are both bucks and are sired by a naturally polled 3/4 Nigerian 1/4 Nubian sire. If you’re looking to add a polled gene to your dairy herd, PM me for details.

Boss Hog wants to thank everyone who took one of his bacon bits! He said the ladies are starting to sashay and wink at him so next springs crop is already in pre-planning phase!!

While I’m all out of piglets, I can work out a finished hog for anyone looking for the convenience of having a freezer full of delicious local pork next summer without the inconvenience of waking up early everyday to feed. PM for details!
