It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Anne Daniken, the matriarch of Daniken Tree Farm. Betty was not only a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to many of us, but she was also the co-founder and heart of our family farm. Betty and her husband Maurice founded Daniken Tree Farm in 1968 with just 500 trees. She continued to work by his side until David and Joey took over the farm in 2002, and even in retirement, she continued to train, teach, and guide us in building the farm into the success it is today. Betty worked on all aspects of the farm, from wreath-making and decorating to fieldwork and bookkeeping. But Betty's greatest accomplishment was the love, faith, and values she passed on to all of us on the farm. From baking treats for break time, never forgetting a birthday, instilling a strong work ethic, and praying over all of our trials and triumphs, Betty never wavered in her dedication to farm, family, or God. We are truly blessed to have shared this world with her for her 91 years, and her spirit, talent, and commitment to family and farm continue in the efforts of her children, grandchildren, and many more that you all see working the farm today. We will continue your work here. Rest well in His glory, Betty Anne Daniken.

The farm is already bustling! Please be slow in the parking lots, mind the signage, and be courteous to our neighbors by not parking in their yard. We look to be a bit busier today than our usual busy Friday with the weather forecasts, so please be patient with one another and our staff. Enjoy your day and thank you for supporting our small family business. We are happy to see you all again❤️🎄 Merry Christmas!

Friends, you may notice yellow tags on some of our trees this season. These tags mark our spruce trees, which are a late-harvest variety. If spruce trees are cut too early, they can experience significant needle loss, and we want your Christmas tree to stay fresh and full all season long.
Please do not cut any yellow-tagged spruce trees before December 4th.
These trees need just a little more time, and they will not be replaced if cut before the tagged date.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to provide the best trees possible. We want your holiday to be memorable for all the right reasons.
Merry Christmas from all of us at Daniken Tree Farm.
