This one means a little extra.
Long before Lokal had a taproom, Solara was one of our favorite homebrew recipes. It was the very first recipe we scaled up and brewed on our new system.
Solara means āof the sun.ā
We built Lokal to be a bright new place for our hometown Point Pleasantā a place to gather, connect and enjoy a b**r together.
Less than a year ago, we made the crazy decision to soft open our doors with just two b**rs on tapā Solara was of one of them.
Before we get to celebrate our one year anniversary, we get to celebrate our very first brew with Solara earning a Bronze Medal in the inaugural New Jersey Brewers Cup!
We couldnāt think of a better b**r to represent where this all started. Cheers to Solara and more importantly to Point Pleasantāthe community that has made this bright new beginning more than we ever imagined!
