🐝 The bees help pollinate our crops like watermelon, cucumbers, squash & pumpkins!
💫 Then they're able to produce honey!

🧠 Do you know where your vegetables are really coming from?! Below are photos of what fresh garlic & onions look like in Pompey right now!
🧄 Our garlic was harvested a few weeks ago. It's a German Hardneck variety which is considered one of the best! It's not bleached or mass produced. You can see the difference between this and what you get at big box grocery store.
🧅 Onions are FRESH, their skins and stems are not dried yet! They're still high in water content and are just being harvested now and through August. We then dry them on mesh screens, keep them warm and dry to cure. THEN they get the flakey skins and are considered good for storage. This is common for yellow, white and red onions in NYS. This process takes up to 4 weeks.
Knowledge is power👩‍🌾 If if looks too good to be true, it probably is!
