Meet Bart, a four-year-old registered Shorthorn bull who just joined the Smith Farm herd. Shorthorns, also a British breed, are known for their well-marbled meat. Bart’s calves have placed high in 4-H competitions across the state, so we are excited to be able to cross Bart with our British White cows to produce better meat products for our customers.
We look forward to the quality calves Bart will sire.

Have you noticed fewer cattle in the pastures? Well, maybe you’ve noticed the increased price of beef at the grocery store, and the prices are expected to stay high into 2026. We even had to raise our prices starting August 15. *see our new price list below.*

Because our goal has always been to provide quality meat and fair prices, we are now offering whole beef and half beef for a limited time, in addition to our packaged beef.
