Soooo… I wanted to share something… these pictures were taken in August 2024. This is my Aunt Carolyn and all of her girls! They were there for me during a most heartbreaking transition when Nic passed away after I had just moved back to OK! We haven’t spoken in almost a year but I have never stopped thinking of them or praying for us all and praying for healing for our family. They will never know how much I genuinely appreciate all that they did for me during that time and the forgiveness they’ve shown since our disconnection. I never planned to come home and have any disconnection from my family of any kind, but it happens. One thing I know and can say about OUR Family is that we ALWAYZ FORGIVE. NO MATTER WHAT. Now, it might take some time but we still love each other and want the best for each other ALWAYZ. Well, this weekend at our first event at Crazy Dayz on Grand… First, my Mom came and bought two pieces of her own cake 😂 and said, “Aunt Carol and Momma are supporting you!” 🥹🥹🥹
‘Bout made me cry! I said, “Who??” 🦉
She said, “Aunt Carol and Momma!” Then, later on my two nieces, Kaylee and Savvy, came to the trailer and gave me the biggest hugs! Came to say Hi and get walking tacos! Again, ‘Bout made me cry!
Then today, my George and I stopped to see my Mom and Grandma and check in and my Aunt Carolyn was there! I said, “Awwww there’s my Aunt!” George got all excited and said, “I can’t wait to see this hug she’s about to give you! Glad I get to witness it!” Well, I wasn’t planning to get a hug and he didn’t come in anyway so he didn’t get to see and I almost left before I said to myself… “Nahhhhh, I can’t leave without hugging her!” So, that’s what I did. I walked right up to her and hugged her so close and said I was sorry! I could feel her heart! We both almost buckled with happiness just to hold each other after so long and so much hurt and bc of the the forgiveness felt in that moment! I said! “I love you, Auntie!”
In that moment who was right didn’t even matter anymore! And sometimes, a hug is all it takes man!
The point is: healing and forgiveness would have come with or without this food trailer! But, it DEFINITELY helped because this time, it felt truly unrepairable between us all! And to some degree, may still be for some. I pray for continued healing because the enemy would love nothing more! BUT, I knew God would heal us through Rez B’z! I just felt it. Those are OUR Family Recipes, OUR Family Laughter and Tears, OUR Family’z Past and Present GENERATIONS, LOVE, & MEMORIES Sewn into EVERY Fabric and Recipe, and this isn’t just MY trailer! This trailer represents for Creator FIRST, OUR entire family, OUR people, OUR City and for those who aren’t able and those we are still stuck and suffering!
I prayed for healing and for forgiveness for and amongst us all. My goal is to break whatever toxic cycles come to divide and love my family through it ALL ‘til we figure it out! I thank God they grant me GRACE, FORGIVENESS, and LOVE, NO MATTER WHAT! No matter what schemes and plots the enemy has to divide I pray protection and healing and closer bonds as a result! A true testimony of Christ-Like Love!
So grateful for what God is doing for us all! If nothing else ever came out of it… I KNOW POWERFUL TESTIMONIES, LOVE, FORGIVENESS AND GENUINE CONNECTIONS HAVE!
