Here's what we have at the store today!!

We are selling more at grocery stores than ever before and are trying to get caught up with production level from the cows, but struggling in the heat!

So we just have Chocolate and Cream Top at the farm today!

Plus Cheese and a Fresh drop from Nolia Graze Cottage!

Just kidding.

But, we are playing catch up this week. We had a cooling tank that went out on us during bottling and we had to dump a days worth of milk.

So no "speciality" flavors this week, just Cream Top and Chocolate!

See ya Wednesday 4-6 and Saturday 8-12.

But there's not a cow in Mississippi producing Raw milk right now.

The PMO states that pasturization requires 145° for 30 minutes.

At this point, in these temperatures, the milk is coming straight from the cows at 145° for over a week now.

All jokes aside, they're hot, we're hot, all the equipment is working in over drive.

Our only solace is thinking back to the ice storm.

In January, after several days of no heat/electric in our house, I was dreaming of using the vat pasturizer for a bath. Today, Jake and I were talking about hoping in the tank of 38° water we use to cool the milk down with through the plate cooler.

Don't worry, we never did either, but extreme temperatures will have you thinking crazy thoughts.

Fall isn't coming quickly enough. But we're 24 hours closer every day.

We have ~nearly~ survived the First Week of School around here!!

Come celebrate Saturday morning with some Milk and Cheese!!

We will be open from 8-12 on Saturday!!

We will have Blackberry, Banana, Chocolate, and Cream Top!!

Plus 4 Varieties of Cheeses!

Nolia Graze Cottage will bring some goodies!

And the calf yard and play ground is mowed!

To say the afternoon milking was a wild ride would be an understatement, but us and the girls made it!

Happy Friday, and happy final week of summer break to all the kiddos out there. I'll see ya at school next week 😭😭😭
