We have been using these snow days to plan the fields with our hard working farmers. We are excited to announce Sunflowers are going to feature on our Eastern crop lines in addition to our Wildflower fields!

Our flowers provide food for thousands of pollinators, a beautiful backdrop for events and fantastic photo opportunities. Honey is a pollinator biproduct and available to our guests.

What does venue hire include?

The venue offers:
- Main level banquet hall with 2 bathrooms, a catering room and raised DJ booth.
- Lower level hall with picnic benches and heating in the cooler months.
- Ample parking
- Use of outdoor grounds (tents can be put up on the flat manicured lawn for larger events)

The benefits of having a "no frills" venue is you get to select your own vendors (catering, décor, music..etc) creating a special event that is exactly how you want it! A trusted vendor network can provided.

What makes Bally Cliff Barn unique to other venues?

Our beautiful wildflowers are not just there for amazing photo opportunities. Bees are vital to our ecosystem and without them there would be no agriculture! Honey is a biproduct from the pollinator fields, and on the other side of the farm our bees and their keepers provide delicious year round honey. Personalized honey jars are very popular and make beautiful wedding favors / party gifts and of course, honey is a tasty addition to any catering spread.


Seasonal wildflowers can also be used to create a stunning wedding bouquet, corsages as well as venue and table decoration.

Be a part of our historic story as you create your own...

Bally Cliff Barn was initially built in 1894 and is deeply rooted in community and agricultural history. From housing cattle and storing hay in the late 1800s and early 1900s to the impressive and grand structure it is today, the barn tells a story and invites you to be a part of it!

Local Red Seneca Stone and original barn wood have been retained where possible to preserve its architectural heritage and maintain the authentic farmyard charm that is highly sought after as a venue.

What other entertainment venues are offered?

The barns foundation or lower level is also 3000 square feet indoors and built with a rare and beautiful local stone called Seneca Red Stone offering walkout access to the rolling manicured lawns leading to the charming farm pond and fields. An entire wall of stable style doors can be opened to take in the magnificent farm and pond views for warmer weather or closed to easily heat a cozy warm space in the colder months. This level has nine picnic style tables that are movable on wheels. This area of the barn can be used as the primary venue in the colder months, or it can be used as a cocktail / appetizer area for upstairs events in warmer months.

What is the barn layout for my event?

If the barns impressive structure of high ceilings and stunning views shown through expansive windows doesn't impress you, the versatile layout and plentiful entertainment areas will.

The 3000 square foot barn main level is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a variety of dining style set ups and dance floor. A large 12-seater picnic table and benches made from the original barn wood is typically used for seating or made into a focal point for décor, presents, food catering.

The main level offers two bathrooms one of which is wheelchair accessible, a separate catering room with a sink and a raised loft area commonly used for a DJ Booth / lighting. Special permitted events can use the grounds and tented events can expand accommodations to 300 people.
