Next time you are on the Farm, take a minute to note all of the things that are made from wood. Unless it is a post that goes into the ground, that wood was milled at our saw mill.
Finney- who is a Calleva Farm institution - works the saw mill taking logs from local landscape companies turning them into boards used for all sorts of projects on the Farm.

Tables, barns, fencing, chairs, wagons, benches, haunted forest sets, ropes course elements etc

This past weekend, Saddle Club kids participated in the CHAPS Winter Horse Show. Riders ages 6-16 show the skills they've developed throughout the season.

The Advanced Instructor team recognizes students horsemanship along with the human-animal connection.

The Horse Show is the culmination of months of hard work, and allow students and their horses to really strut their stuff!

The Calleva Fall staff gather on the Farm to have lunch and laughs. They spent the last week cleaning, organizing, and putting away our outdoor toys for a long winters nap.

We sure are Thankful for these outdoor professionals! They each bring their own personalities and tons of energy into everything they do! Lucky to have them on our Farm Fun team for the week.

Humane farming allows animals to be able to roam free and engage in natural behaviors, like wallowing, rooting, and foraging. Pigs in particular desire social interaction.

To say Farmer Max goes above and beyond in creating bonds with the Calleva Farm animals would be an understatement. Farming is hard work, but Max finds a way to give attention to all of the critters on the Farm.
