Looking for a creative way for your teen to spend their Tuesday afternoons? Let them get their hands dirty and discover the world of pottery!

Our Teens Only Tuesdays class gives students ages 12–17 the opportunity to explore both handbuilding and throwing on the pottery wheel while learning new skills, experimenting with clay, and creating pieces they can be proud of. 💜

🦙🏺 Yesterday's Pottery with Alpacas class was one for the books! 🎨✨

We spent the evening getting creative at the farm, getting our hands covered in clay, and of course, enjoying some furry company along the way. 🦙💛

There's just something special about creating pottery while alpacas wander around nearby! From concentrating on the wheel to taking a break to say hello to our four-legged friends, it was the perfect mix of creativity, relaxation, and farm fun.

🎨🦙🐔 This is what it looks like to be both a farmer AND a pottery person.

While Heather is busy bringing this BIG pottery piece to life, one of the farm's chickens decided it was the perfect time to stop by and supervise. 😂🐔

At Sugarland Studios, the creative process doesn't always happen in a quiet studio—and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes your art assistants have feathers, sometimes they have four legs, and sometimes they're just there to make sure you're doing it right. 🐓🎨

This piece is part of Heather's creative process as she prepares to share her work for the Countryside Artisan Tours. From working with clay to caring for the farm, creativity is woven into everyday life here.
