What a great day we had visiting with Steve Halter from the Poplar bluff Chamber of Commerce, and the folks he brought from the Gateway to Leadership Program. Steve also shared all the news about our community’s efforts and success with the “Bluff’s All-American Weekend”. The best part of the day for me personally, was that the Clubs’ longest running member joined us for lunch! Mr. (Judge) Bob Cope stopped by to make sure we are carrying on appropriately. ALWAYS a pleasure to visit with him!

This week we were blessed with a visit from Sandy & Bobby Marshall, who shared incredible information about Alzheimer’s in Southeast Missouri. We heard about affected numbers, assistance programs, support groups, and even the possibility of a state Coordinator position being created (LETS GO MISSOURI!!!). We were thrilled to get a visit this week from Ms. Tamara Day, who introduced us to Ms. Lilian, the young lady that Rotary Club of Poplar Bluff is sponsoring for Missouri Girls State this year!
