We’re very happy to be back grazing at Billings Park in Superior. The City of Superior is really making a strong effort to control the buckthorn and other invasive plants in this beautify park. I’m not certain but I think this might be the only prescribed grazing work being done directly on the shores of Lake Superior.

It can be hard to fit in sometimes.

If you’ve been to the farm lately you may noticed this rouge gobbler roaming about. Well funny story. Last fall when turkey butcher day rolled around this hen was perched on the very top of our roost. So she got the proverbial 👍 from the Roman emperor and was allowed to stay. Often she thinks she’s one of the geese but she’s a little too sweet for their attitude so I guess today she decided to check out the ruminant gang. We do still need a name for this lil lady…
