Weigh in day! This calls for a competition. Who do you think is Drifty’s chubbiest baby?

We get it, our posts where we are selling things are not that exciting. And there’s only so many ways we can take a picture of a turkey. But we would feel bad if this information didn’t get to someone who wanted to know.

Today is the last day to get the early bird price for our Thanksgiving turkeys. $6/ # today, $7/ # tomorrow. Reserve yours with just a $25 deposit at www.driftyacres.com, let us know if you have any questions.

Pasture raised, organic fed, and just generally pampered. Treat your family this Thanksgiving to a local turkey.

The goats are doing one last job for the year in Lake Nebagamon. We won’t be starting anymore projects this year but if anyone in the area is interested in having the crew out next year we’d be happy to come by for a free consultation this fall so we can get you on the schedule for next year. Just go to https://www.driftyacres.com and fill out our contact form, or comment here on this post.

It’s hard to get a good picture of a fence… but this fence here was a big accomplishment for us! It was well over half a mile long and built goat tuff. We got it done just in time for our new (human) baby’s arrival and we couldn’t have done it without help from timothyheikkila and Otis, thanks guys!

We fenced in 15 acres of about 10 year old aspen regrowth. We are excited to see how goat grazing affects it and we would like to do some preliminary plant surveys so we can properly track the data. If there are any plant nerds in the area who would like to do some plant surveys for us we would happily trade you some farm fresh meat.
