We sustained some damage at the farm due to the snow last week. Two greenhouses collapsed. We have some work to do before spawning season, but our sales greenhouse is still okay so we still have plenty of fish to sell.

The weather is warm right now, so the fish are hungry. But with wintry weather coming in next few days we can’t feed them much. Once water temps go below about 45o, it’s time to stop feeding until the water temperature goes back up.

Howdy folks! It's that time of year again for the LSU AgCenter Spring Garden Show. We will have a booth selling koi again. Please stop by and say hi and get a few fish.

"The Baton Rouge Spring Garden Show will take place this weekend, March 8-10, at the John M. Parker Coliseum located on LSU's main campus in Baton Rouge. Admission is $10, senior citizens are $7 and children 12 and under are free admission.
Show hours:
Friday, March 8: 5 - 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 9: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sunday, March 10: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m."
