It’s never easy to part with goats who have been such a big part of our program, but sometimes it’s time to let the next generation shine! ❤️ We’re ready to give these three the opportunity to help build someone else’s herd, whether that means contributing to a breeding program or enjoying life as beloved pasture pets.

This trio can go individually or together as a great starter herd for someone looking to get into Nigerian Dwarf goats!

This year, we’re leaning heavily into udder quality and shoulder assemblies as we work to build a rock-solid foundation of young does that can excel in both the show ring and the milk barn. Our goal is functional, well-balanced dairy goats that combine structural correctness with the genetics to perform.

We’re incredibly excited about this year’s pairings, and we think this could be one of our most exciting kid crops yet! These breedings represent the direction we’re taking our herd, and we can’t wait to see what the next generation brings. 🐐❤️

Please welcome Be Well X Carolina Reaper *B

Reaper brings some seriously exciting genetics from both sides of his pedigree. His dam is Little Redhouse Sweet Caroline 6*M VVEE90—and if you follow Be Well Farmstead, you know just how special “CiCi” is. She also brings the medial we’re working hard to build throughout our herd.

On the sire side, Reaper is sired by Little Redhouse Xpectopatronum, a son of GCH Little Redhouse Hey! Look! Navi 5*M VEEE91 and Minterbay SBJ Tiger Beat.

We’re incredibly excited to have this guy here and can’t wait to see what he brings to our program! Now comes the fun part—fine-tuning and finalizing those fall breeding pairings. 🔥🐐

From the first day Henry gave Munchie his bottle, to stepping into the show ring for the first time, and finally to the day Henry proudly auctioned his first lamb—what a journey! 🐑❤️

Behind every 4-H project is a young person learning responsibility, dedication, perseverance, and so much more. These kids pour countless hours, effort, laughter, and even a few tears into their projects while learning to work hard and do the very best they can.

Thank you to everyone who supports these kids through the auction, bids on their projects, and cheers them on throughout the process. Your support means more than you know. It helps make opportunities like this possible and, more importantly, encourages these young people to keep learning, growing, and chasing their goals.

On National Goat Day, Henry and Avery had a busy morning showing their goats. Each brought a separate 4H and Open class herd and did amazing showing off their goats. Big giant thank you to all of the additional 4H kiddos who stepped in the help show the goats in more than a few classes!!

After a 1 day layover at home, the crew is loaded and back at it again, this time to the Clallam County Fair! Even Leroy tried to hitch a ride and isn’t sure why he can’t tag along.
