We didn’t have $ for a drip system, or time to set one up.

But watering by hand every morning was killing us...and our 70x100’ garden. It’s our first season. We didn’t realize 🤦‍♂️.

Hoping these puppies solve the problem! “Sumi soakers” - you can look em up Irrigation & Farm Tools for Market Gardens - the Japanese have been using them for decades.

We didn’t think they’d be viable for us since we only have one hose, and need pressure for at least 4 sumis to cover our garden. But we roughly installed 4 to cover half the garden and test them out. If they work, we’ll install 4 on the other half, then alternate watering sides.

Plugged em in yesterday and by the beard of Zeus, they fired right up! It’s looking like we’re gonna install them permanently, and rebuild our garden around them.
