Kohrts Our family is learning about being self sufficient, while having fun. Our small farm is hard work but the joy of animals and outdoors make it worth it!

There’s nothing “hobby” about it! Kohrts Ext. 2015 Antibiotic free animals. Free range, cage free, pasture raised chickens, ducks, turkeys, Eggs, 100% grass feed beef, lamb. heritage turkey breeds, Hair sheep, heirloom plants and non gmo/chemical free produce. All animals do get treats from time to time ;)

It’s been A summer for sure!! Nothing really new to share. same babies being born, (chicks, lambs, calfs ) lol kids sports, sports, sports!!! We are doing fall clean up and just found a new batch of chicks!! We need them cause we keep our older ladies to live out their life.. here’s a new batch, I asked little h to go push them back into the barn cause momma was not calling them all, I think he Thought to walk like a chicken for some reason! Calves being born this spring! These mommas were born here at the farm and now have just had their first babies!!! Full circle moment!!! - both are little bulls… not sure if we will make them steers or sell as bulls. Happy either way!!! Hopefully 2+ more on the way 🙂
