Commercial Purebred Kiko buck up for discussion. Sired by TNT Darkhorse, out of a commercial TNT Rowdy daughter. Oreo, as the kids call him, is a yearling and has sired one nice kid crop for us. Solid feet, never needed worming, good calm personality and easy to handle. Comes from a forage based operation. Located in Port Byron, Illinois. Please pm for more information.

Update - the doe herd headed off to a new home in Wisconsin last Friday to help a new family grow their goat herd. Bucks are still available, see separate post!

Due to a change in family circumstances I am now offering my entire Kiko herd as a package deal. The herd includes 12 adult breeding does (11 Commercial Purebred Kikos, 1 AKGA Registered Kiko) and 2 Commercial Purebred adult breeding bucks. This herd has been carefully selected and culled hard for low maintenance, parasite resistant, forage based, meat producing animals. All does are excellent, hands off mothers who regularly birth twins, triplets and quads and raise them unassisted. All have 1x1 teats and correct udders. TNT bloodlines are strong in this herd and there are daughters of TNT Dark Horse, TNT Redtail, TNT Shazam and TNT Rowdy and granddaughters of TBR Resistol in this group. The black and white buck is a Commercial Purebred son of TNT Dark horse and the red buck was purchased from Iowa Kiko Goats in 2023 for his superior genetics. There are also three additional spring buck kids available as breeding bucks that can be sold with the herd or sold separately. If anyone is looking for a Kiko over dairy cross buck for the fall breeding season look no further!! One of our Alpine Dairy goat does has thrown an impressive set of buck twins this year that will be sold as breeding bucks. We took 60 day weights last weekend and these two are already an impressive 40 pounds a piece with a ADG of .56 pounds. They are sired by the AKGA Registered Buck TNT Dark Horse that we have used these past two breeding seasons. Their dam, Alexis, consistently raises fast gaining kids with docile personalities. She is an easy keeper with excellent milk production and a good udder. These boys should add milk to your herd and would be great for a dual purpose breeding program. I expect them to pass on low maintenance, fast gaining meat genetics and parasite resistance as well. PM if you're interested in reserving one of these guys. Located in Northwest Illinois.

SOLD!! I'm excited to announce that this guy is headed to his new home at Kenosha Hills Kikos in Nebraska in a couple days. I hope he has a long, bright future ahead of him there!!

Commercial Purebred Kiko two year old buck looking for a new pasture. Proven herdsire that has produced two kid crops for us. Sired by a TNT commercial TBR Resistol son and dam is a TNT Rowdy daughter. Threw quite a bit of color variety for us this year. Quiet and gentle personality and enjoys a good chin scratch when you walk by his pen. Dam raised on pasture and from a forage based operation where low maintenance, fast growing animals is our goal. Here's a video of me weighing and eartagging newborn kids. We take birth weights because it provides us a lot of valuable data to use to evaluate our feeding program and genetics that we use. The eartags are both a Scrapie ID tag with our own unique farm premise number on them as well as an individual animal number. These are very important management tools for us.
