💛 EVERY SPACE HAS A FAVORITE CORNER. THIS ONE IS MINE.

There’s something about this little spot that I’ve always loved.

Maybe it’s the light coming through the window, the warmth of the brick walls, or simply having a quiet chair where you can sit for a moment and watch the world go by.

As we get closer to opening, I keep imagining this space filled with life again. Someone sitting here with their morning coffee. A friend waiting for another friend to arrive. Someone opening their laptop for a little work break. Or maybe just taking a few quiet minutes for themselves with something delicious from Jane Foodie.

That’s what I want our café to be.

Not simply a place to grab something to eat, but a space where you can slow down, connect, stay awhile, and make it your own.

This is my favorite spot right now, but once we open, I have a feeling one of you might claim it. 😉💛

I can’t wait to share this little corner, and the rest of our new space with you.

Soon, the chairs won’t be empty anymore. And that might be what I’m looking forward to most.

💛 SOME OF OUR FAVORITE STORIES STARTED RIGHT HERE.

Before Jane Foodie became what it is today, there were mornings filled with the smell of something baking, trays coming out of the oven, recipes being perfected, and a simple idea: make really good food and share it with people.

One pastry became another. One recipe became a customer favorite. And somewhere along the way, these little bites became part of birthdays, Sunday mornings, coffee breaks, family gatherings, and those “I’ll just have one” moments that somehow turned into two. 😉

Looking at this brings back so many memories, and reminds us how much we’ve missed sharing good food and making memories together.

As we get closer to reopening, we’re not just excited to fill our freezers and shelves again. We’re excited for the conversations, familiar faces, shared tables, and all the new memories waiting to be made.

Because for us, it was never just about the food.

It’s about what happens around it. 💛
