Price's Inn ad from 9 December 1964. A complete steak dinner for $2.50, imagine that. You could make your own ice cream sundae at the bar, and with any dinner you had a bottomless glass of milk. Sitting on each table was a miniature milk bottle full of cream for your coffee. The restaurant opened in 1963 in what was formerly Circus Lunch, and stayed in business until 1966. Next door was the Kitsap Mattress Manufacturing Co.

But hey, what's with that upside-down bit in the square? Accident? Supposed to amuse? It's a teaser for a new line of products introduced two months later, in February 1965. Angel Fare was an ahead-of-it's-time line of frozen diet treats. Kenneth Price, owner of the Price Guernsey Cow Dairy, was the first Angel Fare franchise in America. He sold the product at his three drive-thru dairy stores plus at his daughter's restaurant, and he wholesaled to both sides of Puget Sound.
