Yummy Homemade Jelly Nougat for the Holiday!

One of my favorite holiday candies when I was a child was Brachs Jelly Nougats. Each chewy wrapped candy looked like a little piece of stained glass art. They were both Creamy AND Fruity. And, they were always my first choice when presented with grandma's candy dish!

Brachs Jelly Nougats are hard to find these days. I ordered some for the Candy Shoppe a couple of years ago and they arrived so hard you could break a tooth on them. So, we used them for display only. 😪

This year, I have some time on my hands while waiting for our new Shoppe to open this Spring. (By time I mean the lull before the crazy train that starts in January when we get our keys and start contruction) So, I've been experimenting with some new candy recipes for the Holidays. And, holy moly I hit the Jelly Nougat jackpot!! These are soft, chewy, fruity... everything I remember as a kid. So YUMMY!. I can't wait to make them for our Shoppe in Poulsbo next year!

It's fudge season! Well, it's Holiday Fudge Season. We consider ours Year Round Fudge. And. come Spring we wil be making our delicious handmade fudge in historic downtown Poulsbo! Can't wait!

We are so so so so excited to open our new location this Spring!

It's official! Our Poulsbo Candy Shoppe will be opening this Spring 2022.

We are so excited and blessed to call Historic Downtown Poulsbo our new home!

We have so many exciting plans (So much FUDGE) for our new Front Street location. And, so much work to do. Stay tuned for updates on our new Shoppe progress and an official opening date. We can't wait for you to pay us a visit.
