Hooray for rain!!! And for all of the wonderful produce that comes along with it! This week we have the first of the delicious local grapes from Jerry and Sharon Becker. We start with a very flavorful and beautiful variety called Captivator. We also have a few varieties of seedless grapes, reds and another tasty option, Reliance. Each has a unique flavor and blush. Another blushing beauty are Discovery apples and red plums from R&M. Gorgeous inside and out,
definitely not to be missed. We still have local Gravensteins and Prime Reds, Honeycrisps and Golden Supremes from Camas Valley, as well.

Peaches and plums from CV are also still on the shelf, along with the last of the nectarines. This week from CV are pints of late variety blueberries, known for their flavorful sweetness.

Valley Flora strawberries are winding down and we have a few pints left from Saturday that can be acquired at a discount. Many varieties of melons continue to be available and this week we have Snow Leopards, Hamis and Orange Honeydew, along with seedless mini watermelons.

Tomatoes are also coming on strong with local heirlooms, cherries and sungolds, alongside Romas and slicers from CV. Corn continues to be excellent, as do artichokes. Beautiful heads of VF lettuces, chard and kale are available, in addition to green and yellow zucchinis. Abby’s Greens are here this week, but no arugula right now.

Don’t forget that it is member appreciation week, so come grab some fabulous produce and stock up on lots of other goodies! Cheers and Thanks, Meg and Deb

As August comes to a close, APPLES are abundant again. We will continue to carry the usual favorites, but this week, from Camas Valley are another favorite, Honeycrisps! In addition they are sending us Golden Supremes and Prime Reds. We can’t wait to try them all! Local Gravensteins are still in the mix and more local varieties are just around the corner.

Also from CV are Italian prune plums and white peaches and nectarines, in addition to the fabulous yellow peaches. Local red plums from R&M again this week, too. CV is also sending red and green Bartlett and Asian pears.

Valley Flora strawberries are still coming strong, but not for long, so don’t miss ‘em. Red grapes continue to be awesome and tasty Thomcords join them on the shelf again this week. Honeydew melons are available along with mini seedless and the last of the yellow seeded watermelons from CV are here as well.

Still getting fantastic local tomatoes and from CV, slicers and San Marzanos. They won’t be here for long so get those sauces canned while you can. Let us know if you would like to order a case.
