Gita Nagari Farm Gita Nagari is a 350 acre eco farm and cow sanctuary situated in scenic Port Royal, Pennsylvania.

A non-profit organization established in 1974, Gita Nagari Eco Farm and Cow Sanctuary is home to the first USDA Certified slaughter-free dairy farm in North America. Although there are other farms claiming to be slaughter-free and USDA certified as well, Gita Nagari is the only farm USDA certified whose slaughter-free practices exceed the average lifespan of cows (+18 years). Operated by a diverse

team of volunteers whose vision is to accelerate global transformation through compassionate living, the Farm is well equipped to host your next immersion in nature.

Harini is one of our youngest cows. She's very curious and enjoys human contact. She's always full of energy. When we clean the barn, she's always running around, jumping, constantly sniffing the wheelbarrow, trying to move it, and pushing it. It's a lot of fun, but it also makes cleaning take twice as long.😉🙂
