Sometimes life hits hard and you need to slow down for a bit. We have potatoes and sweet corn planted so far. We will post here when we start harvesting and open the market, but it will probably be mid July. Potatoes and sweet corn will be similar in amounts to other years, but we have had to slow up on other veggies. Sorry for any inconvenience.

There is something very cathartic about being in the field on a beautiful spring day. Lots of planting and harvesting of hay being done this week.

We didn’t finish, but we got a whole lot of potatoes in the ground today. There is nothing that says spring like the clicking of the potato planter.

This was just a bit of a test run to make sure that the planter was working properly. . . But what a beautiful evening up on the hill planting some potatoes. There’s nothing like the clicking sound of the potato planter. Happy spring!!!

Potatoes for Easter! These are the potatoes that we stored over the winter. After a long cold winter, we finally had a decent day and enough help to get some potatoes washed. Specially priced at $20 per 50 pound bag. Self serve.

The market is full and ready with potatoes for your Thanksgiving meals. Bags of reds and white potatoes. Also remember that FMNP vouchers need to be used by November 30. Stock up on potatoes for the winter. Also check out the freezer for our Berkshire pork.
