Sonny is looking forward to the Cape Tradin’ Post reopening and can’t wait to see all your familiar faces again. We’ve missed you, and we know Sonny isn’t the only one ready for that reunion!

Until then, tell us what’s your favorite Sun Bum product?

Look what Tylor found! This dreamcatcher survived the fire, and it’s one more little piece of the Cape Tradin’ Post we get to keep. ❤️

Some of the biggest progress happens long before you see it on site.

Plans are being checked, steel is being built, and every piece is coming together for the return of Cape Tradin’ Post.

This is what “behind the scenes” looks like.

While the rebuild is taking shape on site, pieces of Cape Tradin’ Post are being built off site too. Every cut, every weld, every detail is one more step toward getting those doors open again.

There’s a whole lot happening you don’t always get to see and we can’t wait to show you how it all comes together.

They’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and now you can really start to see it.

One year ago today, we lost our beloved Cape Tradin’ Post. Kyle and I are incredibly grateful for the love, encouragement, and support shown by our amazing community, family, friends, and loyal patrons. Your kindness has carried us through this difficult year, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back. Thank you for standing by us ❤️We are coming back bigger, better, and stronger than ever!

- We love y’all 🫶

A little behind-the-scenes proof that Cape Tradin’ Post is still very much in the works.

Some days it’s big equipment on-site. Other days, it’s steel, sparks, and a little “Cape Tradin’ Post” carved into the progress.

It’s coming together.

08/29/2026

Just because you don’t see something happening on-site every day doesn’t mean things aren’t moving forward behind the scenes.

Pieces are being built, plans are moving, and progress is happening off-site too.

Cape Tradin’ Post is coming back, one step at a time. ❤️

Stay tuned. We’ll keep sharing the journey as it comes together.

Progress looks pretty good from here. 👀

Little by little, the rebuild is taking shape, and every day brings Cape Tradin’ Post one step closer.

Big things are coming. Stay tuned.
