Advanced Water Systems was established in 1992, servicing Martin and St. Greg Pashkow started in the water business in 1979 drilling wells in Palm Beach County. Lucie in 1988, he noticed the need for quality service in the area and made it his mission to develop a dependable, sustainable, small business. He quickly diversified his target audience and created the vision for Advanced Water Systems.
“I noticed a common theme of many companies selling their customers equipment that they didn’t need. They were dialing up the salt usage to be able to sell more salt on their delivery routes. And, the whole time the customers had no idea they were being taken advantage of. It was then that I decided to start a salt delivery service and reprogram customers’ water softeners to be more salt efficient, and to educate the customer on minor maintenance issues. Educating my customers would eliminate unnecessary service calls, which in turn would save the customer money.”
Our goals at Advanced Water Systems are quite simple:
Honesty: Always be genuine and purposeful when selling a product, or service, to a customer. Never intentionally sell something that the customer does not need in order to personally, and financially, benefit. Education: Provide customers with the resources that will allow them to be more cost effective and efficient. A small lesson, such as teaching the customer how to clean the sand filter, or set the timer, will go a long way. Dignity: Do every job as if you were working on your own water system. By doing this, trust and respect will be created between the business and customer- ultimately producing a reliable relationship, full of service and appreciation.
