I know we're all inundated with these kinds of requests, but rarely are they in such circumstances.

Peter & Eileen have been such a deep & sweet support to me as neighbors at the farmers market. What they're going through now has just been so much.

These are folks doing the work, who are having the fruits of said work destroyed by the actions (and neglectful inactions) of another.

It's not right.

If you believe in the American dream, if you support hard work and honest dealings, if you understand what it is to give yourself to your land, then please share what you can.

For what it's worth, I, myself, have donated. So, I'm not asking you to do anything I couldn't or wouldn't.

This market has been an absolute joy to be a part of--the Jefferson County Farmers Markets staff, my fellow vendors, and the community who show up for us, rain or shine.

Christina Albrecht combines her landscaping and nursery background to bring us a stunning selection of Japanese Maples, native, and other non-invasive ornamental trees. She lovingly sculpts them as they grow to best reveal their beauty and maximize health. Stop by and say hello this Sunday at the Chimacum Farmers Market.

Wow! The Jefferson County Farmers Markets Chimacum Farmers Market Season Opening was wonderful, with a record number of vendors, delightful music, and a great crowd.

The amazing photographer Robert Tognoli was on hand to capture the moment, and he managed to snap this shot of me while I was working on my demo tree.

So many people stopped by the booth to talk about the trees on display, their trees at home, and even buy some trees. It was so fun that I'll have a larger booth next week so as to be able to bring more trees!
