Special for this Saturday ! Hawaiian pork pastele stew, made with olives, tomato, and green banana. This dish is influenced by Puerto Rican laborers who brought these flavors to Hawaii, where they were re-interpreted. Served with rice and slaw.

We're pleased to announce that Fridays are for the locals! If you mention to us that you live in East Jefferson County when you place your order, we will take 15% off of the bill!

A few clarifying details- this discount is available for banh mi and japchae orders placed at our booth- not for cookbooks or specials, and is available at our booth only, not from other vendors at Finnriver, and for the summer season when we are open on Fridays. At the risk of being redundant, this discount is available only on Fridays. Also, please be mindful of how you use the discount- this isn't a way for you to hook up your brother-in-law who's visiting from Ohio.

Heavily seasoned with annatto, which gives it its gorgeous orange hue, as well as black pepper, lemongrass, and calamansi sour orange. Served with garlic rice, slaw, and chili vinegar.

Special for today at Finnriver! Kimchi-Jjigae, made with Chimalow Produce daikon radish kimchi, pork, tofu, local matsutake mushroom, and topped with pickled mioga ginger flower buds, grown by Spring Rain Farm. Mioga ginger is a temperate ginger that grows well in our area. Grow some!

Announcement regarding our gyro menu:

We very much care about serving our dear customers and community. We also very much care about not losing our marbles. We are experiencing some growing pains, and as such, we have made the difficult decision to shut down our service window at Lila's Kitchen. Our last date of service will be Tuesday, May 27th.

Although we hope this closure is temporary, there are no guarantees that we will re-open with this menu.

Thanks so much for showing up for this quirky menu, and we hope to see you soon.
