Five Acre Farm

It seems there have been a lot of loose feathers blowing around the barnyard the last few weeks. A lot of the ladies are, what we chicken tenders call, “molting”. This means they are loosing there older feathers and growing new, hardier feathers in preparation for winter. This also means, unfortunately, less eggs for all of you. I am doing my best to collect and get everything out in the stand for you all so please be patient and check back often! Thank you for your continued support on our little egg stand - I love supplying fresh eggs to you and your support keeps it happening!

Come help some spoiled chickens get their yummy treats!

If you or someone you know is looking for some farm fresh eggs from some very spoiled chickens please send them my way!!! I have plenty to go around! The girls are laying very well and leaving them out where I can easily find them! It’s like they know the more eggs you guys get the more treats they get!

Egg stand is at the end of the driveway for your convenience. And if the dogs are out please know they cannot get to the stand due to their highly effective invisible fence!!

Well, the egg stand must have taken a pretty good tumble during out mishap because the fridge will not turn on. Until I can figure out my next move, please contact me if you are in need of eggs! I am usually around so we can set up a time for pickup if needed!

Tonight Clyde got to spend some time grazing in the temp fence. He was very happy to have some fresh greens!

We both learned a few things.

⚡️I learned that he cannot be left unsupervised until I get it electrified. ⚡️

🫨He learned not to panic when his horns get stuck in it and mom is just trying to help 😂

All and all it was a good 20 minute training for both of us!

I officially have a name!

Hello, my name is Clyde!

I am adjusting to my new home and goat friends beautifully! So far my favorite treats mom has given me are cucumbers and strawberries. Mom is keeping her eyes open for my “Bonnie” and I can’t wait!

Went and picked this cutie up this morning. He is a 6 month old highpark (highland x white park) bull calf.

He just wanted to say hi!!!
