I made this little guy when I got my first set of Prismacolor almost 10 years ago!

Did you know: snails have up to 20,000 microscopic teeth and can carry ten times their weight, even vertically up a wall! They are one of the most ancient animal groups on Earth, dating back to over 500 million years!

I started this almost exactly one year ago, and have been gazing at it, unfinished, for more than half of that time. A few days ago I had a dream that helped me find the rework this was asking for. I learned so much with this piece. I look forward to doing another version of it in my future with the skills I accumulated through this process.
