TODAY ONLY at the Lake County Fair!

Carnival wristbands are $5 OFF today, Saturday, August 15!
Tomorrow’s wristband special of $22 will remain the same as previously advertised.

And there’s even more good news, admission to the Lake County Fair is FREE for the remainder of the Fair!

4-H Auction is happening today, registration begins at 3pm, auction starts at 5pm. This auction is open to anyone to participate.

Come out, enjoy the rides, food, exhibits, animals and everything the Lake County Fair has to offer as we finish out the 2026 Fair!

Due to limited parking on the grounds remember to park at Crown Point High School.

LAKE COUNTY FAIR MORNING UPDATE — AUGUST 13

We are still waiting for power to be restored at the Fairgrounds. Once power is restored, we have a plan in place to safely reopen.

Please do not come to the Fairgrounds unless you are a participant who has been
directly contacted by your superintendent.

At this time:
• 4-H shows are continuing for participants only and are not open to the public.
• The D&D Pro Rodeo has been cancelled.
• Friday’s Lumberjack performances have been cancelled.
• Tickets for cancelled Grandstand events will be refunded.

Our priority remains the safety of our vendors, guests, exhibitors and participants.

We kindly ask that you refrain from messaging the Fair regarding power restoration. As soon as power is restored, we will share an update publicly.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support.

Also, all official communication from the fair will only come from our social media sources. Many other people are trying to communicate on our behalf and are spreading inaccurate information. Our team is working and responding to all messages and comments as quickly as we can.

IMPORTANT LAKE COUNTY FAIR UPDATE

Currently, our team is diligently working behind the scenes to make the necessary adjustments to try to keep the Fair moving forward. We appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility as we work through these changes. PENDING the return of power, the fair will plan to open tomorrow.

Here is the current plan:

Petting Zoo: Moving to the Dairy Barn.

Pepsi Family Day- moved to Thursday. Redemption from 10am to 2pm. Wristbands from 2pm to 7pm.

Micro Wrestling: Originally scheduled for Tuesday at 7:00 PM will now take place Wednesday at 7:00 PM. All tickets already purchased for Tuesday will be honored Wednesday night.

Rodeo: The previously scheduled Wednesday and Thursday rodeos will be combined into one event Thursday night. All rodeo tickets already purchased for either night will be honored Thursday.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday grandstand events remain as scheduled.

Please continue to follow the Lake County Fair page for updates as we work to communicate changes as quickly as possible.

Due to today’s storms and resulting power outages, the Lake County Fair will be closed for the remainder of Tuesday, August 11.

We know many of you were looking forward to Pepsi Family Value Day and tonight’s Micro Wrestling event. Our team is already working behind the scenes to determine what may be possible in the coming days and to coordinate next steps for both.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the impacts of the storm and make decisions with safety in mind.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: All gates to the fairgrounds are currently closed, and all fair activities are paused. There is severe weather heading into the area. As soon as the weather has moved on, and we are given the all clear from the Lake County Sheriff's Department, we will resume activities at the fairgrounds.
