Ethan was kind enough to invite me on his episode or maybe it was my suggestion but either way…here we are! 🤠

Many have reached out about purchasing a whole, half or quarter beef. We have it all available! I can deliver a quarter beef or you can pick it up here on the farm at anytime! I have spots available for a whole or half beef in June through December.

You place a deposit, I will contact you with the cutting instructions sheet and you will call the butcher when your beef gets delivered to give them your cutting instructions. We have appointments at Carters Custom Cuts at the beginning of each month and it takes between 3-4 weeks before your beef is ready for pick up or delivery. Carters does offer delivery for a fee and they bring your beef to your house!

We will be at the this Thursday, May 7th from 10-2pm and we will have our NEW tallow product with us….Blue Wagyu!

I will also be shipping beef this week as well! You can order online for pick up at the market, at the farm or have your beef shipped to your door!

I took a chance today and cooked up an American Wagyu Sirloin Flap steak waaaayyyy out of the box!

I was searching for something to throw in the crockpot before church this morning and found a flap steak. I thought I would just give it a try! It was completely frozen when I put it in with seasonings. I turned on the crockpot to high and walked out the door.

We came home about 4 hours later. I took the flap steak out of the crockpot and cut AGAINST the grain. This detail is a uper important with cuts like the flap, flank and skirt steaks! See the picture to see the difference of cutting against the grain versus cutting with the grain.

I sautéed the beef with some green onions and green chile, in our tallow of course, and it turned out awesome!! So tender and full of flavor!

Glad I took the chance with the crockpot! I will be doing that again! 😁

We will be at the this Thursday, April 23rd from 10-2pm! This will be our last market in April and then we will be back the first week of May.

🚛I will be shipping beef this Tuesday.

Apparently, we are moving into featuring episodes of Life on the Farm According to Ethan! 😂

And he is right! This grass is so good for the cattle!

The online store has been restocked for orders for either pickup or shipping! We will be back to the on February 5th and 12th!

Whole and half beeves have been selling quickly around here! If you’re wanting to stock up, now’s a really good time to secure your spot for the month that you would like your beef!

Good morning! Jumping on here for a few updates!

I do have half beef shares or a whole beef share available right now at Carter’s Custom Cuts! They should be cutting next week, so there is still time to get one cut EXACTLY how you would like it!

I’m getting more beef this Wednesday and will be updating the store by the end of the week! You can preorder for pick up at the market, at the farm or have it shipped to your door!

Good morning! I do love a Sunday morning! It’s chilly and moist outside which the cattle love ❤️

Our family spends most of the day at church. Jason preaches and the girls are leading worship today. We have friends visiting so it’s an extra special day! 🥰
