One Acre Farm TX

NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC One Acre Farm TX is a small family homestead and educational center that provides farming classes and autism/special needs programs.

We are certified in The Horse Boy Method and The Movement Method. One Acre Farm TX began selling farm products and providing mini-farming educational classes in 2002. Some of the classes include: How to Raise Chickens, How to Raise Rabbits, Raised Bed Gardening, How to Harvest/ Process Chickens, and more. These classes are available for adults, students from Pre-K through high school, scout troops

and homeschool groups. In 2016, a non-profit Educational Foundation was established to provide outdoor programs for autism/special needs families. In summer of 2016, One Acre Farm teamed up with The Horse Boy Foundation for training and certification in The Horse Boy Method and The Movement Method.

You and your child(ren) can meander around the farm and visit with the animals while we wait for all to arrive. Then you will enjoy listening to stories in the outdoor classroom in the fresh air.

Exciting news here at One Acre Farm.
🐐 We’ve had 6 baby goats born this month!

🎥 Catherine was fortunate to be able to capture on video the whole process from birth to babies standing within minutes and nursing milk from momma Piper.

❤️ In the 27+ years of small homestead farming, we’ve had hundreds of births. The wonder and awe of the miracle of life never dims in our experience. We hope this video can give you insight to the beauty of farm births.
