Yellow River Jam

Yellow River Jam 2019 Boats, Bands and Brew. You will float through quiet wooded areas with sandbars for picnicking and rope swings for playing along the way.

On October 3, Join the Georgia Conservancy and the Yellow River Water Trail Partnership for a peaceful 7-mile flat-water paddle on the Yellow River as it rambles through Newton County. When you shed your boat gear, head for some craft beer and local fare; the take-out is about a half-block away from downtown Porterdale- a vibrant, historic 1830s mill village. Restaurants will be brewing, grilling and baking for hungry paddlers. This will be the best place in Atlanta for Boats, Bands and Brews on October 3rd! Don't want to paddle - Join us at the Porterdale Yellow River Park - music starts at noon until ....
