First off, I’m sorry for the delayed post this morning! Life has been a little busy, but the stand is OPEN and FULLY STOCKED! 🥰🍞

We’ve got all sorts of homemade goodies out and ready for you, so stop on by and grab yourself a little treat (or five 😉).

A little heads-up about our hours this weekend! We have some other engagements in the evenings, so we’ll be closing at 5 PM each day instead of our usual later hours. We appreciate your understanding as we juggle all the things that come with running a little homestead business and keeping up with family life! ❤️

A little weekend update: I’ve decided brownies just aren’t happening this weekend. 😂 I’m still taking it a little easy, but I DO have more cookies coming out shortly! 🍪

Otherwise, the stand is stocked with everything you see here, and don’t forget — the muffins are tucked away in the fridge! 🧁

The stand is open, but we’re starting this weekend off with a little bit of a limited menu.

I woke up this morning feeling a bit under the weather, and as much as I hate leaving things unfinished, I’m not comfortable baking for you guys while I’m not feeling 100%. So for now, what’s out there is what we’ve got!

HELLO GREMLINS 👹🩷

We are mostly stocked and ready to roll this morning! 🙌🏻 There are plenty of goodies waiting for you, and I’ll be back in the kitchen early this afternoon working on some pumpkin muffins 🎃 to add to the lineup!

A little seasonal housekeeping as our Wisconsin weather finally starts cooling down: muffins will still be kept in the fridge, but you’ll now find the cookies out on the counter! 🍪 With the cooler temperatures, we no longer have to worry about them turning into little melted chocolate disasters. 😂

As we settle into the slower season, quantities may be a little more limited—but that also gives me more opportunity to play around, experiment, and bring some different goodies to the stand. 👀

Come grab yourself a treat (or five 😏), and keep an eye out for those pumpkin muffins later today!

Okay… we may have gotten a little carried away. 😅

Introducing our NEW JUMBO Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls! 🤎

We took our regular cinnamon roll recipe and DOUBLED IT. Naturally, the sensible thing would’ve been to make twice as many cinnamon rolls.

We did not do that. 😂

Instead, we made the exact same number of rolls and made each one absolutely GIGANTIC.

Same soft sourdough. Same cinnamon-brown sugar goodness. Same frosting on the side. Just… twice the audacity. 🤣

Quantities will be a little more limited as we head into our slower season, BUT there’s a fun side to slowing down! It gives me a little more room to experiment, play with recipes, and try things I normally don’t have time for when I’m baking like a crazy person just trying to keep the shelves full. 😂

So while you may see smaller quantities, you’re also going to start seeing more variety, new flavors, test batches, and different goodies popping up at the stand. 👀

Consider these ridiculously oversized cinnamon rolls experiment #1. 🧪🤣

Good morning, friends 🤍

We’re going to be opening just a little later than usual this morning, and I wanted to give everyone a heads-up that the stand will be a little more limited to start the day.

It’s been a really heavy week for our family, and truthfully, life has taken a pretty big toll on my ability to keep up with baking and production the way I normally would. Sometimes family and life have to come first, and this has definitely been one of those weeks. 🤍

That being said — I’m still here, I’m still baking, and more goodies will be making their way out to the stand throughout the day. My plan is to have things much better stocked later this afternoon, so if you stop by this morning and things are looking a little bare, don’t panic, I’m still here baking.

As we head into the slower season, you may also notice that I’m starting to make smaller quantities of each item so we can cut down on waste while still keeping a good variety available.

And just a reminder: if there’s something you KNOW you want for the weekend, preorders are always welcome! Just get your order to me by Wednesday and I’ll make sure it’s set aside for you.

Thank you guys for continuing to show up, support our little homestead, and give me grace during the weeks when life doesn’t quite go according to plan. It means more than you know. 🤍

I’ve missed you guys! ❤️

I had SUCH an amazing break and made memories with my mum that I’ll cherish forever, but goodness does it feel good to be home. 🏡 After traveling halfway around the world, I’m more than ready to settle back into our little homestead, get my hands dirty, bake some bread, and see all of your faces again!

And of course… I couldn’t just come home quietly. 😂

Meet Dottie! 🫏🤍

We finally picked up this beautiful little girl today, and I am already completely smitten. She’s settling in with the goats and officially joining the chaos here at The Jaecks Family Homestead. 🥹

Vacation was incredible. The break was needed. But home—with my family, my animals, my kitchen, and all of you—is pretty darn wonderful too. ❤️

I can’t wait to get back into the swing of things and see everyone again!

GOOD MORNING, MY LITTLE GREMLINS 🖤

This is your regularly scheduled Friday reminder that THERE ARE NO COOKIES HERE. 😂

No sourdough. No brownies. No cinnamon rolls. No suspiciously full bakery fridge waiting for you. The Jaecks Family Homestead is CLOSED this weekend while your baker is off gallivanting around the other side of the world. ✈️🌏

BUT — that doesn’t mean you have to skip your weekend stand run!

There are so many wonderful little farm stands, roadside stands, home bakers, growers, and small businesses in our area that would LOVE to see your faces this weekend. 🖤

So while we’re away, go visit somebody new. Grab a loaf of bread. Buy the cookies. Pick up some fresh produce. Toss a few dollars in an honor box. Find another little local family to support this weekend.

There is plenty of room for all of us at the table, and supporting small & local will always be something we cheer for around here. 🥹🖤

We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled baking, animals, and general homestead chaos soon. 🤍

BUT, if you guessed Tokyo Disney from my little sneak peeks… you were right! 😂🏰

Momma and I just wrapped up two absolutely incredible days at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. We rode SO many rides, ate our way through the parks, collected a few special souvenirs, walked approximately 47 million miles (or, in my case, pushed Momma for a good portion of them 🤣), and made some memories I know we’ll be talking about for years.

I know this isn’t our usual homestead content, but I figured you guys might enjoy coming along for a little bit of the adventure. 🥹 Traveling has always been one of my greatest loves in life—and Disney isn’t very far behind. Getting to combine the two, and experience it all with my mom, has been pretty darn special. ❤️

And we’re not done yet!

Tomorrow we say goodbye to Tokyo and head to SHANGHAI! 🇨🇳✈️ Which means another Disney park is officially on the agenda. 👀🏰

I’ll share a few little glimpses along the way, and then before we know it, I’ll be back home covered in flour, feeding animals, and wondering why I ever complained about walking when I could be pushing a wheelchair uphill through DisneySea. 💀🤣
