It’s true! For the last two summers, we’ve found that our availability to bring U-Scream out to events doesn’t quite match up to our excitement about doing so any more! After a lot of reflection we’ve decided to wind down the project and reclaim the energy for other things.
We consider U-Scream a huge success! We’ve had five summers of fun connecting with rad people all over Portland, supporting our favorite outdoor events, and promoting locally produced, 100% vegan treats. A goal for both of us was to broaden our connections and opportunities for service in the community and I would say that above all we have succeeded in that.
A huge salute to the folks who have helped us out and hooked us up along the way: .chocolatehouse .pdx and so many more…
Thanks especially to our original backers on Indiegogo — and anyone and everyone who’s stopped by for a treat! Your smiles have made the whole experience a delight.
Come say goodbye with us this Sunday at , snag a t-shirt and eat a popsicle on one of the last (forecasted) warm days of the year. All goodies free: suggested donations to .
Love, Benni and River! 🍦💀🤘
