Norms 9 Pin was brewed on a happy and rainy day with yeast added Friday 13th in March of the year 2026.

The sight glass may not be correct on volume but I hit the exact mash temp I wanted, the gravity and volume! On a new brew system that feels good! Still working out the kinks but feeling very thankful and excited to share the Norms 9 Pin 5 year anniversary from March 20th - 24th. We will also be opening some speciality bottles you may remember 🍻

“13th Moon - Known for our loss from (using) Whole hops.. and Gain!”

We back to brewing and this time it’s Norms 9 Pin!

We always use whole hops which imparts a softer character and adds less green pressed hop oils to your tummy (that’s not good for your belly!) Big breweries will scream that we loose so much beer wort in the using whole hops - SMD/Reallly??? Haha!

Norms hops are a special hop from what used to be the largest hop yard in the world. The hop plant has since passed along in a drought but this beer will continue to preserve Norms Spirit even if this might be the last year using Norms Hops 🥲

The Wort Chiller Adventures were very fulfilling! In a brew world where we are seeing soo much negativity it was extremely refreshing and renewing to connect with folks.

A wort chiller cools the wort before adding to the fermenter n adding yeast turning into beer

Biiig thank you to Chris of who has helped me find all my equipment including holding on to a tank for a year plus in his driveway. This guy is incredible and his beer is unique and better than the average brew. Speaking of!

4. Deschutes brew pub bend! Never been here and I loooove the setup! Sat next to a guy who said he’d been going there since 2 days before they opened and worked for the forest service for 164 years. It was such a warm spot with much wood and a unique middle bar which had me feeling a lil like I was home at 13th Moon

8. Picked up the wort chiller from the new homey Darin of - These guys are brewing that old 90’s NW beer you miss! I had no idea and you don’t either! Gonna be holding there IPA’s because I can’t get enough of them. You heard me right! Every convo felt special and inspiring and I left feeling very happy to have met the Oblivion boys. *will be carrying there beer soon at the moon

9. Dry side drive back. Quiet and peaceful. No cars on the road often and slow mountains rise and fall and rise on the way to 84. Too good.

10. Wyeast Labs hooked it up and made me a to-go box so I can brew wit my new lil wort chiller baby! Find me brewing next week god willing 🙏

Sage has been added to the fermenter! Here you see the sage as the Lemon Ginger mead is transferred off of ginger and leese to swirl around the fresh, medicinal and lovely sage leaves who float along the lazy mead river. This picture feels like a sage-mandala - representing the cosmos or a spiritual journey. This elixer represents that for me, my business and I hope your experience when sharing it with the world ❤️

Here we see the professional movers - move our very new (🤭) 5 barrel brew system from our friends at to the trail(er) toward our production facility!

We have been slowly gathering our (forces) brewing equipment, found our space we shall have our very own brew space (we share with our friends) - filling up our brewpub ( ) wit our very own brews. (We will continue to carry international and local brews and highlights still). Cannot wait to share the brews we been waiting to release back into the wild!!
