“Gonna start with the presentation because that's always the first thing to catch my eyes. And honestly, Pepper Crusaders frikkin nailed these. I'm really big into fun knight stuff, stories, and even games like Elden Ring so the different characters in each bottle is pretty cool to me. Along with the little stories about them printed on the side. Second thing I'll always check is the price. A lot of times, if the bottle looks cool the company will charge substantially more. Not in this case
Last is taste, none of these are super spicy and for me that's very much ok. I know a lot of people always eat sauces that'll burn a hole in cement. So if you are looking for that, it's not here. But, this is my preferred level of spicy as of lately, and they focused more on flavor. I much prefer sauces that go that route anymore.
Enoch is amazing, my personal favorite. The garlic really stands out and is really balanced with the Thai pepper. I think this one's the spiciest as soon as you bite into it, little linger and little back end. Anything you'd enjoy with garlic, this will go with. I think this one will be the most versatile of the bunch.
Then the Godfrey is a flavor blast, I haven't had many sauces that tasted like this and are this good. Very fruity, I really love the combo of kiwi and pineapple. It's on the mild side with no back end spice or lingering effects. Really good on my breakfast burrito.
El Cid is my least favorite of the bunch but that's more personal, I'm not a huge fan of peach sauces. But despite that, the mango and peach pair really well together and it does have a nice level of flavor, yet fairly mild with a medium 'bite' on the back end that'll linger. I imagine it would pair well with grilled chicken.
All in all, Pepper Crusaders did really well with all 3 of their current bottles. I very much look forward to whatever they come up with in the future and will definitely be a returning customer.” -Blake Sama
