The Capt’n Jake is back in town and we’re very excited to sell you guys some more beautiful fish! We will be selling fillets of Haddock, Cod, Po***ck, Hake and monk tails at 430 commercial st. Portland on 12-1pm Friday (4/24). Also we’ll be up at Pine Ridge Acres on Saturday (4/25) 10am until sold out! Our good friends Casco Bay Scallops will be set up on Saturday with some beautiful scallops. Can’t wait to see everyone!

The past two days of selling fish have been amazing! We sold out all of our fish. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported local by buying the freshest seafood around! Huge thank you to Pine Ridge Acres for letting us set up shop and another huge thank you to Casco Bay Scallops for all of their help and support. The Capt’n Jake has headed back out fishing so we’ll keep everyone updated when they return with fish. We truly appreciate everyone who has been buying fish, scallops, lobsters and supporting the local fishermen. Let us know how your fish turned out for dinner!

Hi everyone! The Capt'n Jake has finally made another trip! It took more time than expected due to the weather and minor boat issues, but we are very excited to sell more fish to the public again! We will be selling at Sturdivant Wharf (430 Commercial st. Portland) tomorrow 4/17 from 1pm - 3pm and Saturday 4/18 up to Pine Ridge Acres (40 Winn road, Cumberland) from 10am until sold out! We will be selling monk tails, Greysole, flounder and for our groundfish we will be selling our first ever FILLETS of Haddock, Hake, Cod! Finally, we have teamed up with Casco Bay Scallops to bring you guys HUGE variety of fresh seafood! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Our first offload and retail to the public was a success! We wanted to say thank you to everyone who spread the word about supporting this new venture and to everyone who stopped by to buy some fish. We will be working on new ways to make it easier to purchase our fish down the road. For now the Capt’n Jake will be headed back out over the weekend (weather depending) and should be land approximately Tuesday to sell another fresh load of fish to the public but more updates will follow. Thank you again to everyone who supports our page, the boat and purchasing local fish, we truly appreciate it. We’ll let everyone know when we’re headed back in next week. For now, stay home, stay safe and eat fish!

It was a short and sweet trip! Headed back to the dock tonight with some beautiful fish! Our plan tomorrow is to get set up in the morning and be ready to sell at 11am tomorrow until 4:00 at 430 Commercial St. in Portland. We have haddock, cod, greysole, dabs, monk tails, hake and red fish! We recommend bringing a cooler tomorrow to pick up the fish. If you have any questions please send us a message or call! We’ve had a ton of people reach out to us regarding buying our fish! It’s unbelievable and we appreciate everyone reaching out to buy right off the boat! Not only are you supporting the boat and buying local fresh fish, but you’re also supporting everything and everyone that goes into keeping this boat running and we thank you for it!

The Capt’n Jake will be headed out fishing tonight and will be back Monday at some point. We will get everything set up for people to come down and buy our fish on Tuesday, April 7. Keep checking here for updates on when and where we’ll be landing. Most likely we’ll be catching: haddock, po***ck, grey sole, hake, and monkfish. The fish will be sold whole with head on and gutted.

Right now we are only doing pick up only at this point in time. It will be $5.00/lb for any species. The fish will be put in food grade bags, but we recommend bringing a large cooler. All sales will be cash or check for now.
