We love sharing the simple and complex flavors of locally foraged and harvested ingredients through the wild fermentation process. UFF is an experimental fermentory that specializes in locally foraged, harvested, and seasonal beverages like Hard Cider, Mead, Kombucha, Gruit, Beer, and Jun (non-alcoholic). We love sharing the flavors of our local environment by the glass or growler in our Portland

and Kittery Tasting Rooms. As a community engagement hub, UFF supports area artists, makers, organizations, and musicians through a variety of events and collaborations.

After a pioneering 14 years at the location in East Bayside, Portland, Maine, the Urban Farm Fermentoty will end it's Maine journey where it began here at 200 Anderson Street in Portland, Maine.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed and supported this concept and its products with ideas, warm smiles, thoughtful words and community engagement.

The goal was always much greater than just producing delicious beverages. The intent was to always work towards health and well-being while raising up the community with education and hopefully helping people sync up with nature.

This facility, the first of it's kind and still not replicated was a prototype intended for franchising nationally/internationally as the concept of local fermentation and seasonally available ingredients applies anywhere and would be distinct to that location.

Wrapping up March this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 will be the LAST PUBLIC HOURS for TAKE OUT in the original tasting room in garage bay #4 at 200 Anderson st.

Production of Maines first and only true kombucha, cider, mead and gruit has concluded here at this time.

Additionally the last pallets of Kombucha and Cidah have been shipped to the distributor here in Maine which will be delivered to retailers partners around the state until they run out.
