Little photo shoot with a little bantam boy and his jumbo friend. It is really cool to see what selection can do.

The bantam is not a runt or a failure to thrive. This is one of an entire line of quail I’ve selectively bred for size over many years. The line breeds true for small size, just as a jumbo line breeds true for large size. Bantams breed true at 5oz or less. They are a separate classification from standard and jumbo.

The birds from my line are healthy, vigorous, and absolutely adorable.

This project had taken a back burner for a while, but I’m hoping to release the line in the spring.

Nope. Can’t tell you hatch date. They all go into a grow out pen when they’re old enough. They’re outside and off heat and doing great. Hatched this spring.

They lay tons of large, cream-colored eggs. Bred for temperament.

BAD EGG

I try not to air my dirty laundry too often, but some people need to be outed so they can’t get away with damaging other small businesses.

Put EDWARD/MICHAEL COSOM on your Do Not Sell list.

Ed bought jumbo Brown eggs in Feb. Ed didn’t notice the lead time in the description, so he emailed us. Jenna responded and explained the estimated fulfillment timeframe listed in the description of the variety.

I then shipped his order. He received it on April 21.

He filed a fraudulent charge claim with his bank on April 23rd.

THIS IS THEFT.

Edward bought the eggs, received a confirmation email when he purchased. He emailed us asking about his order. He received a reply to that email. He received a fulfillment email with a tracking number, and received the eggs.

There is ZERO fraud involved here except from Edward.

Yes, I can dispute the claim, but I am charged $20 just for disputing. So I’m out $68 if I don’t dispute, $20 if I dispute and win, and $88 if I dispute and lose.

This really browns my bananas. My un**es are officially wadded.

This is theft. That’s all there is to it. Please make note of his information and don’t sell to him. He will steal from you, too.
