That’s a ton (and a half) of peaches! 3,500 lbs. to be exact. Whenever they’re ripe and ready, a local Maine farm delivers these fresh peaches to our doorstep. We then squish ‘em up and put ‘em in our fermenter to mingle with a sour golden ale—making for a delicious new batch of Farm to Face.

It’s official: Allagash White was just inducted into the American Craft Beer Hall of Fame. As part of the second annual class of Landmark Beer inductees, it’s joining beers, and brewer friends, that we deeply respect. Rob himself, back in 1995, wouldn’t believe it if you told him. He had chosen to brew a little-known style of Belgian wheat beer that took nearly ten years to catch on. Now, with more medals than any other wheat beer in the world, and 31 years of dedication to making it the best possible beer it can be, this is an honor that puts a bow on the hard work of our entire team here in Maine and beyond. Cheers to Rob for never wavering in his enthusiasm for the beauty of a well-crafted witbier. And cheers to all of you for enjoying, and sharing our love for, Allagash White.

We love our community, and we’re so grateful that they love us right back. The people of Portland, Maine, voted us Best Brewery AND Best Maine Beer for Allagash White, in the annual Portland Old Port Awards. There are some amazing breweries here in Portland, with world-class beers and kind, knowledgeable staff, many of whom we call friends. So cheers to our team, whose day in, day out hard work makes these accolades possible. And cheers to all of you for supporting us by drinking cold, tasty beer.

The good news about this mountain of plastic: it’s all getting recycled. Yesterday was a drop-off day for the recycling co-op that we run out of our warehouse. Ten local businesses drop off their hard-to-recycle materials, and we weigh them, bale them up, and deliver them to places they’ll be properly turned into new things. We took in a whopping 2,252 lbs of plastic. A truly banner day for keeping #2, #4, and #5 plastic out of the landfill!
